our history

Flintec began in 1968 through the innovation of two Swedish engineers in establishing a weighing scale design company. At first, the business focused on creating unique types of load cell scale. They later expanded the business to incorporate the design and manufacture of not only the scales, but the loading cells within.

We have come a long way since 1968, and now have a global reputation for high quality, hermetically sealed load cells, that are recognized for precision, accuracy and reliability.
