Flintec USA Welcomes Andrew Smith as the new Managing Director
Flintec USA is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Andrew E. Smith as the new Managing Director. Andrew succeeds Jeff Robidoux, who has decided to semi-retire and transition into a sales management role within the company.
Jeff has dedicated 23 years of service to Flintec, joining the sales team in 2000 before ascending to the role of Managing Director. Jeff's decision to semi-retire ushers in a new chapter in his career, whilst continuing to provide Flintec the benefit of his extensive wisdom and experience.
Andrew joins Flintec USA from Winchester Interconnect where he led the Dynawave RF & Microwave business unit as General Manager driving technical sales and manufacturing excellence. Prior to his position as GM, Andrew served as the Operations Manager for Winchester's Peabody, MA RF & Microwave site. Under his guidance, the site experienced impressive growth, achieving a remarkable 33% increase in sales and a notable 48% increase in profitability. Andrew's ability to optimize operations and drive results was a key factor in this success.
Andrew has held multiple senior leadership roles in complex material manufacturing businesses and has been appointed to Managing Director due to his comprehensive leadership experience and technical expertise. He brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position at Flintec USA. “I am truly excited to be joining the Flintec family providing technical solutions to the industry’s most challenging opportunities.”
