Announcing a change of management at our manufacturing facilities in Sri Lanka

In December 2025, Tyronne Weckasinghe stepped down from his role as Managing Director of our Sri Lankan operations. 

Tyronne has been part of the Flintec family since 1992, joining the business as an administrative assistant. Over the years, he progressed through roles in purchasing, logistics, and operations, and was appointed Managing Director in 2012. His leadership and commitment have helped shape the strong foundations we have in Sri Lanka today. 

While Tyronne is stepping down from Flintec, he remains closely connected to the business. He will continue in an independent capacity as Managing Director of Flintec Technology LLC based in the United Arab Emirates, acting as a distributor of Flintec products throughout the Middle East. 

We would like to thank Tyronne for his many years of service and dedication to the business. 

Tyronne is succeeded by Asanka Manoj, an Electrical Engineer, who has held a number of positions within our Sri Lankan operations since joining the business in 2003. Having worked closely with Tyronne for many years, Asanka brings deep experience and continuity to the role. 

Asanka will continue to uphold our commitment to operating sustainably, with a strong focus on efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.
