Donut Load Cells
Flintec’s donut load cells (also known as a load washer or thru-hole load cell) are particularly suited to measuring compressive forces. They feature a central aperture for accommodating application parts or bolts.
Typical usage examples include clamping and bolt fastening in the automotive and manufacturing industries as well as press fitting operations in assembly machines.
Our CC1 donut load cell is principally designed to act as a polished rod sensor in oil and gas pumping applications. Other uses for the CC1 load cell include a twist-lock sensor for container spreader weighing systems used by container handling operations needing compliance with the SOLAS weighing regulations.
The Flintec donut load cells are all constructed from high-grade stainless steel with full hermetic sealing. This ensures they are safe and appropriate for use in even the harshest environments.
