The manufacturing centre of Flintec is Sri Lanka.
Products are manufactured in two modern, well
equipped facilities totalling 90,000 sq.ft, manned
by a staff of over 800.
Every
process in manufacturing is controlled in accordance
with ISO9000 and if required, customer specific
quality management systems.
Both factories embrace lean manufacturing, via
Cellular Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control
and 5S. Continuous improvement is a key Management
objective.
Enterprise resource planning is used to purchase
high quality materials from quality approved vendors,
and to ensure finished product is delivered within
customer required time-frames.
Flintec
manufactures many components and sub-assemblies
in-house which provides for total control of quality,
rapid customisation and on-time delivery of the
finished product.
In-house manufacturing facilities include, strain
gage manufacturing, machining, heat
treatment, assembly and calibration.
